Mens Fellowship

Members of the Mens’ Fellowship meet regularly on Thursdays to have a time of prayer and fellowship. This also includes systematic Bible studies conducted by our Pastor and also lecture programmes by our own members and occasionally by speakers from outside.

The Mens’ Fellowship concentrates on the theme ‘CHRISTIAN LIVING THROUGH THE WEEK’. Talks and discussions mainly centre around this theme. We also try to understand the practicality of Christian faith in our day to day lives and be a witness to others through our life and conduct.

Once a month members visit Kalyani Hospital to talk to the patients, share the love of Christ and pray with them. Gospel tracts are distributed during the visits. Listening to the needs of the patients and their requests for prayer is challenging. Many patients are alone and when they find someone to visit them and talk to them, we could find their happiness expressed through their smiles. We meet patients belonging to different faiths and after praying with them return with a sense of soul-satisfaction.

On an average of ten to twelve members meet on Thursdays but on certain days it is much less. However we feel the presence of God even when two or three gather together in His name. We acknowledge along with the Psalmist in Psalm 115 when he says

“THE LORD REMEMBERS US AND WILL BLESS US……… HE WILL BLESS THOSE WHO FEAR THE LORD – SAMALL AND GREAT ALIKE.”
